A Bristolian, now living in Chippenham, Wiltshire, married to Pat, with two sons and six grandchildren living near Colchester, two older siblings, Brother John and Sister Margaret.

Bob has spent nearly 15 years living and working in Africa in 6 different countries, now semi-retired but quite busy in a variety of jobs, mostly unpaid. Bob is coming to the end of a 5 year stint as District Treasurer for Rotary District 1200; hard work at times but very rewarding and like belonging to another Rotary Club.

Bob is in his 10th year as Treasurer for Chippenham Rotary Company who are in the commercial training and meeting hire business through the Rotary Hall. He has been in Rotary 23 years, a member of five Rotary clubs and President of two; Kitwe North in Zambia & Chippenham in Wiltshire. Was one month away from being President of Richmond Rotary club, Surrey when his company asked him to go to South Africa (no contest!)

Leisure activities include wine making and recently, back to sketching and watercolour painting, which he hopes to practice whilst in Africa.

Bob works part time as Co-ordinator for Wiltshire organising traffic surveys on behalf of the Department for Transport. These involve up to 4 data collectors over a 12 hour shift, and he manages a small team of 8/9 part time staff.

Bob enjoys managing a team and in particular, visits to some of the rural, out of the way places that the area covers.
